AIRFIT offers a new range of balancers for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX).
The ATEX features of these balancers are:
Ex II 2GD c II T 85°C (T6)
- one-piece aluminum alloy construction
- stainless steel cable
- EX : ATEX
- II: Group II
- 2: Category 2 (probable presence of a potentially explosive atmosphere);
- GD: Potentially explosive atmosphere due to presence of gas and dust;
- c: Type "c" protection for non-electrical devices;
- T85°C: Maximum surface temperature in normal and fault conditions, in degrees Centigrade for dust;
- (T6) : Maximum surface temperature corresponding to a maximum of 85°C for gas.
